Volunteer
Any undergraduate Drexel student is eligible to become a member of our Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter. Full membership requirements are as follows:
Participate in at least one non-build volunteer activity
or
Pay $7 annual dues.
Regardless of which requirement you decide to fulfill, you will receive a free 2009 Habitat for Humanity t-shirt, as well as become eligible to participate in on-site builds with our affiliate.
Meetings
A great way to start becoming an active member with Habitat is by attending out General Body Meetings (or GBMs). These meetings are held about once a month, and serve to both inform the general body about events and activities, as well as involve the general body in decisions and new plans. GBMs are announced via our mailinglist, so be sure to add yourself to the list as soon as possible!
Events
Volunteering your time at Habitat events is another way to become a more active member. You can sign up for builds, fund-raisers, and other events via our new Signup Application here:
Simply select an event from the list, and sign up with your name, email, phone number and other important information.
We specifically contact groups of volunteers signed up for an event via email with important information related to that event, so sign up early, and keep your eyes open!
