o Act! Speak! Build! Week is Habitat’s national advocacy week, for more information to see if you’re interested also e-mail Christina
• If you are interesting in being part of Habitat’s fundraising team, e-mail Peter at pvp29@drexel.edu and let him know
o We will be finishing our letter drive at the next meeting, so also be thinking about possibly businesses around Philly to send the letters
• The next build will be February 18, 2012: sign up at signup.duhabitat.org
o Please only sign up if you are sure you can make it: we don’t people cancelling last minute!
• A doodle poll will be coming out soon with times for volunteering at Habitat’s ReStore so look out for that!

For your information, the meetings this term (Winter 11-12) will be held Thursday at 8pm in Ross 302. The first meeting of the term will be January 26, 2012.

The next general body meeting is Monday, November 28 at 7 pm, in Creese 226. Please come and also hear from our Habitat volunteer coordinator, who wants to introduce himself to DU Habitat. Come out and help us make a new connection with Habitat!

Rake-A-Thon, a coalition fundraiser, is a two part event in which we rake lawns (“raking”). We will be traveling to Chestnut Hill from the end of October through the month of November to advertise and engage in our fundraiser. We rake homeowners’ lawns for a donation price, which will go towards the builds we do throughout the year. The dates for the event are listed below.
